Established in 1969, Dennis Smith Surveys is one of the longest operating survey practice in the Illawarra. Originally located in Thirroul a new office was opened in Bulli in 1974 where it remains today. The new building was built from bricks and other materials recycled from an old coal power station at Scarborough.
Dennis Smith headed the family owned business from its establishment in 1969 until 2011, some 40+ years. In 2011 the business was registered as a company and taken over by Murray Smith.
Over the years we have progressed from hand drafting and chains to the latest Computer Aided Drafting and Surveying technologies.
